My Story
In 2022, I got sick and developed an autoimmune disease. I have now been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I graduated from my undergrad with a bachelors in psychology in 2022 and started Grad school right after to become a Mental Health Counselor. Unfortunately half way through the program I had to make a call and choose sacrificing my health or leaving school to ensure that I won't keep making myself sicker. So as of now I have made the decision to leave school until hopefully I can continue one day in the future when my symptoms aren't so bad. I have always loved psychology and baking since I was a little girl. Since being sick only baking has brought me a lot of joy and peace. It can be very difficult to do daily tasks with this especially since there is no cure. Baking has truly started giving my life purpose again. I finally feel capable of doing something that I was able to do before before I got sick. Since this brings me such joy I started sharing my food/ baked goods with my neighbors and family and it really warms my heart seeing the joy of them trying my recipes.
I believe in the value of homemade, handcrafted quality baked goods. Not only do they warm the home, but my products will definitely warm your heart. My favorite time of day is when the first batch comes out of the oven early in the morning and the fresh smell fills my entire house.
Hope you enjoy
